August Challenge:
Stay Connected, Stay Engaged
August is a vacation month, and while we are taking a break from Bible Study, we are not taking a break from growing in our relationship with God or caring for one another.
This month, we invite the entire church family to participate in our August Challenge!
Here is the Challenge:
-
Read the Book of John
Spend time reading through the Gospel of John. As you read, ask God to help you see Jesus
more clearly and understand what it means to follow Him.
-
Pray
Commit to praying for at least 5 minutes a day—or as often as you can. Pray for the needs of
our church, our congregation, and the things happening in our world.
-
Reach Out
During August, intentionally reach out to at least one person, preferably someone you don't normally engage with. A phone call, text, card, or simple word of encouragement can make a difference.
It's Not Too Late to Start!
If you haven't started yet, don't worry—you can begin today! This challenge isn't about perfection or keeping score. It's about being intentional about staying connected to God's Word, committed to prayer, and connected to one another.
Let's make August a month of reading, praying, and reaching out!
